Another entry in my Popular Mechanics series "Astronauts Doing Silly Things" - this drawing is for an article about the hazards of space junk. Did you know the government tracks over 19,000 pieces of space junk?
I remember hearing that space junk (old satellite and such) may eventually make space travel impossible from earth unless something is done soon. Very clever drawing.
Personal highlights: lucky strikes, a pram, and chinese fish wrapper(?). I'm hoping that PM commissions a piece showing the common origin of those three elements.
