When I was in Chicago visiting awhile back I made it a point to stop and see the work you had up (along with Sterling Hundley's and Joe Morse's) at Columbia. I was really blown away. I do not know why I have waited so long to comment though. Anyway, I have long admired your work and will always look forward to seeing the originals whenever I get the chance.
Do you have any work in the Editorial show in February?
Yes, I have a book cover I did for Farrar, Strauss and Giroux in the editorial/book show. Hand drawn text interacted with digital type, so I had to do a acetate overlay so the original art could hang in the show instead of a print.

Did you got to the illustration academy?
I can't wait to see it. Will you be in attendance?
Yes, I attended two summers. A truly amazing place to say the least.
No, I won't be able to make it this year... Sterling and I went to the same year at the academy... '98. One of my students was there last summer.
