Here's three spreads from the last few months. I draw during the sermon, and usually it relates (somewhat) to the chosen text. The drawings are done in around 30 minutes.
I was up for a great illustrated bible commission 2 years ago (written beautifully by friend and fellow Schwartz & Wade author Sally Lloyd-Jones) and did not get the job. I suspect my sample drawing was too much in this vein. Sally has the drawing today. Perhaps I should post it someday.

Despite the brilliance of the fish head drawing, I don't think Lifeway is going to buy your "fishers of men" idea for vbs decorations...
