SI 54 Award Winners

A big year for me at Society of Illustrators, I got 9 images in the show and also another piece I art directed. So thankful and humbled. The most prestigious illustration show in the world! I can only show 8 images, so I need to pull one of these, any thoughts?

All six from my Rolling Stone Trivia package, in the series category:

Three from my dickens book:

Not to mention I got a piece in as "Art Director" the amazing ICON poster!

Congratulations! I love all of them, but if you have to vote one out, I might suggest one of the ones from the children's book, perhaps the 3rd one down? I love it, of course, but I don't think it adds more beyond the context of everything else you have here. That's my $0.02, but I think whatever you choose it will be a strong selection overall.

Pull the last Dickens one. Love it, but love the other 2 from the book more!

I agree with what everyone else said... Just don't pull "When I'm GONE Will You Miss Me?" :)

John Hendrix said...

Not to worry Carlee. GONE ain't going anywhere.

I love the second Dickens illustration in the list - the one with the text in it. That said, I love your eye for detail, the more the better, and like "Resilient Economies" and "You Don't Call England" a lot. The piece you directed is fantastic, too! Congratulations!
