Late Night Fight

Here is a fast turnaround piece I just finished for the upcoming issue of Entertainment Weekly, about the Late Night 6-way ratings horse race.

Those of you following my Twitter feed may be aware of some of the mid-drawing hysteria not mentioned here.

Nice one. Must of been tough with all those likenesses.

Always been a fan of Conan. I find Jimmy Kimmel hilarious but don't usually stick around for his guests. I've been over Letterman for a while. Fallon was good on SNL, but not much else. Haven't watched Ferguson. Only good thing about Leno was his 'headlines' segment....

One of my favorite cartoony conventions is how people involved in a cartoony rumble are instantly affixed with band-aids and wounds are instantly stitched up, mid-fight. Or maybe we are to believe this another chapter in a series of ongoing rumbles. Either way: Nice work!

Hey John! That's an awesome assignment, since I'm addicted to late night TV. Great Conan! Also these negative lines in the background are really cool. Hm...
