The final jackets (along with the actual books) of Cicada Summer and The Reavers arrived at the studio this week. Thanks to Chad Beckerman at Abrams and Jason Booher at Knopf.
Hi John, I would like to speak with you regarding an illustration you did for Atlantic Monthly. The magazine directed me to your blog, but I couldn't find your email address. Please respond to ehill@corcoran.org. Many thanks! Elizabeth By the way- love your website!
George MacDonald Fraser, who wrote The Reavers, died shortly after this book was finished. He told the art director, all his novels, this was his favorite book jacket. He famously penned the screenplay for the James Bond film Octopussy.

congrats.. I must say I found your work with these two subjects tasteful and I enjoyed the warmth of the wood against their supple covers.
Thanks man. By the way, I love that slug video.
