We spent 30 minutes in small claims court today. I brought my sketchbook. It made me wonder how I could get my 'drawing on location' students into court. I suppose we could split up in small groups of three or four. Would we be noticed/arrested?
Hot off the presses, this drawing was for a great article in next month's Atlantic Monthly about how our generation loves quirkiness, to a fault. Exemplified in Napoleon Dynamite, the films of Wes Anderson and especially 'This American Life.'
