Hot off the presses, this drawing was for a great article in next month's Atlantic Monthly about how our generation loves quirkiness, to a fault. Exemplified in Napoleon Dynamite, the films of Wes Anderson and especially 'This American Life.'
If I hadn't seen the Showtime show of TAL, wouldn't have recognized Mr. Glass. I identify him primarily by (1) how he swallows his Rs and Ls, and (2) his short, choppy, matter-of-fact delivery. Both of which defy illustration. (And you're telling me it is easy!)
That was great. What makes it work is not so much about imitating the voice, but lampooning the shows phrasing that is so funny. I love Sky Maul, glad you too have found the stylings of Kasper Hauser.

That was great. I agree the voice wasn't there (especially the Ls) but the intonation and delivery were both great. I love waiting to see what quote they pull out of the episode for that little end joke, this was a good one. Very nice.
Satire is parody, except the goal is to criticize rather than entertain.
