7-Year-Old-Abe-Lincoln-Headquarters

I am in the midst of finishing up the final art for my children's book, the boyhood story of Abe Lincoln falling in a creek. This is a shot of my desk with 5 images in progress. These are all done now and I have 6 left to go. I'll post a few soon.

  1. Speaking of acrylic vs. watercolor. The spray fix worked long enough to finish the job. Whew.

  2. I use acrylics for the very reason that tirzah needed spray fix. They don't move once they dry! Then I can layer the colors, kind of like glazing in oil paint.

  3. I learned my lesson but I really do love my watercolor crayons.
